October is the month of celebration for AMT Ceramics, 27th to be exact when the “Hatsugama” was first laid out at our first studio. Yes, you heard it right! We have the 2nd studio! As we celebrate our 4th year, AMT decided to expand and provide our services and talents beyond those who need it. From our 1st studio at Tandang Sora - Quezon City, Tagaytay Studio is now accepting students during weekends ( Saturdays & Sundays) for private learning in Wheel-throwing and Hand-building. Our studio at the south which is the new AMT’s Design Studio is conducive for creative projects such as Pottery Production Space, Podcast and Photography.
As we go along with this opportunity presented, AMTeam is very excited to announce several initiatives that are now currently happening; while, more initiatives are coming in-line with our core values and purpose in helping our community. Here are the lists of projects and initiatives that everyone can explore:
“Putik ‘Yan!” Pottery Podcast
"Putik 'Yan!" Podcast Hosts: AM Trajeco, Abee He, Hazel Rimando & Kat Carlos
The first podcast in the Metro tackles current and relevant issues that we potters encounter in our daily lives. The objective of this program is to spread awareness that Pottery is now alive here in the Philippines, thriving, providing and sharing knowledge, which is also a creative expression.

“Glaze Artist Series”
This initiative is rooted in our desire to share knowledge in glazing, broaden one’s creative experience, and optional access for the community we’re currently building. We believe that collaborating with ceramic artists and potters alike can help strengthen our commitment in creating a supportive and helpful community.
Our first batch of the “Glaze Artist Series” is now available at the studio which can be used by students, studio-users or anybody among our community potters. We have currently 4 studio-glazes that can be used for “FREE” , for those who would want to learn from any of our workshops, or when they avail our studio-use and firing services.
“AMT’s Kabahagi Pottery Program”
This program aims to provide learning to individuals that are financially/or physically - challenged and further promotes diversity and inclusion. We believe that pottery can be for everyone that could be easily accessed and sustained, that can further help manage psychosocial disabilities thru clay as a medium, as well as, for their career growth.
The studio will choose and extend this opportunity to individual/s who are willing to learn pottery to be offered every quarter of the year. After successfully completing the program, the lucky individual/s can join our team or practice his/her craft in the studio as an independent artist/potter.
“2026 AMT Pottery Caravan” January - June 2026
Expect to see much of AMTeam in different locations at the metro, in its effort to establish more collaborations with our Partnered Cafes in 2026! This further aims to raise awareness and explore more talents among our member Filipino community.
At this point in time, we are very grateful for what our Studio had accomplished in shaping and building the community we have today. Saying “Thank you” wouldn’t be enough for your unwavering support since day 1.
